Run a system scan with your spyware/virus software to make sure all is well once completed. I'd run scans with McAfee and they finally showed that they saw this virus & wanted to restart my computer & run a scan. The first restore point I picked failed to "install" on reboot, reported that either the restore point had problems or anti-virus program was blocking the restore.
To make a long story short, when I opened my desktop yesterday, no desktop icon appeared and there was also no START bar/menu. and nothing worked. FYI...I recently had several spyware viruses that I removed with McAfee, SpywareTerminator, SuperSpyware and Malware Bytes. I wouldn't know.
