There are no other graphic cards on the PC and no on(mother)board video port __Driver__: installed by NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8762-pkg1.run. (I have also tried 1.0-8178 - same behaviour seen). __xorg.conf File__(Auto generated and Not blaming Ubuntu mind you, it's the less than stellar nvidia application. Anybody know how i can fix it? That should NOT be happening. I didn't have to use a terminal window or a anything else to make it work. I installed the driver and rebooted. NVIDIA plans to use its "HSI" bridge chip to translate for the NV43 GPU on AGP cards. In other words it's dead and I don't know what's wrong with it ... This nvidia x server settings module is the worst most pitiful monitor setup program i have ever seen since i started using computers 34 years ago.
