I does not let me boot from any where, all I get is the signs ante mentioned, I've tried to boot with a new Windows 7 disc, with a new XP Personally, if all website owners and bloggers made good content as you did, the net will be a lot more useful than ever before. I have already set the bios to load the cd-rom before the hard drive.The hard drive has been formatted using your Hitachi tool. Have the CD in the drive as it will probably want to get a few more files from it on the fly or make a folder on the drive and copy
When I click load drivers I could still see that it made a backup for all of it. I did realize that to make any operation work, you first need a key or action that will start up the repair (from the CD or USB). So I was looking for another reason and finally i found file "grldr", it shows like grub in hex editor :-O. Make sure it is set to cable select or master (if slave present) boot that machine with a 98 boot disk. Ntldr Download Click 'Repair my Computer' At the prompt to select your OS installation, click the button that says 'Load Drivers'.
I formatted the Hard Drive and put it back into our broken computer. To do this, type the following commands in the order shown below: (Remember to press ENTER after each command) bcdedit /export C:\BCD_Backup ren c:\boot\bcd bcd.old bootrec /rebuildbcd - Restart the computer.
