Since you chose to reinstall, you should have done so in order of OS age so that Win7 would configure the Dual Boot Menu when installed last.

I only find Win XP repairs. Note If you specify the /r option, the /p option is implied. EasyBCD makes a copy on the "active" drive (where the BCD is) and also creates a boot.ini in the same location.

If yes can you see your XP hard drive or partition.When your system was working:How were you switching between Linux and XPIf you were using a bootloader which one was it?Was All of the cds or dvds get to the "press any key to boot from cd" and then "inspecting your computers hardware configuration" flashes briefly and then a black screen.
