Look at monitor for issues. Computer Shuts Down By Itself I changed everything that was set to 'ultra' down one notch to 'high' and this solved it. is there some special name for that.... Sheer coincidence/bad luck?

I then went and downloaded Display Driver Uninstaller removed all the GFX drivers in safe mode rebooted and installed the R9 270x ones. You aren't anywhere even in the right ballpark of blaming the drivers if the computer will not even POST. Happy gaming!
